A place to meet and share, full of knowledge and culture, digitally connected and vibrant, the François Mitterrand - Les Capucins Media Library will surprise with its innovative spaces and services.
Since 2017, it has become a place full of life for the citizens of Brest and beyond. More than a million people have already come through its doors. The media library is aimed at all types of visitors by offering board and video games, digital workshops, activities for everyone, a teenagers area, and of course, access to more than 120,000 titles on site (books, magazines and newspapers, DVDs, CDs, sheet music…).
Discover the heritage collections which bring together 11,000 rare and invaluable documents from the 15th to the 21st century.
Employment services are also available in the job orientation area which offers individual support.
The media library offers free WiFi access as well as twenty PAPs (Public Internet Access Points) spread throughout the library.
